The cafe at WorkSpace will be closed on Monday, May 19th for the Victoria Day holiday.  We will also be closing at 1:00 pm on Friday May 16th.

As always, current members are welcome to use the space over the holiday weekend.

On Friday May 23rd we're throwing the doors open for another Open Coworking Day. All are welcome! Come join us for the day and get some stuff done. Bill and Dane will be rocking the espresso machine all day long to keep you going strong.

Same as last time, coffee will be on the house! You just worry about taking care of business and stopping now and then to enjoy the view.

Easter weekend is coming up and the WorkSpace team will be observing it this Friday, March 21.   The cafe and front desk will be closed for the day but if you are a member you will still have access to the space if you wish to stop by.  We will be back on Monday, full of chocolate, ready for a new week.

On Friday March 14th WorkSpace will be opening its doors to anyone interested in hanging out and getting their cowork on.  If you're a Gastown local who comes by for coffee, it's a good opportunity to bring your laptop stick around for a while... or if you've heard of WorkSpace and would like to come down and check it out, meet some of our great members it's a great opportunity for that as well.

If you have a non-profit or community oriented project that you've been working on, the meeting rooms will be available for free.  Just let us know in advance and we'll set aside some space for you.

And I nearly forgot... latte's are on the house ;)

Next week is Christmas vacation.  And while the WorkSpace team will not be here and the café is closed, fret not.  Members are more than welcome to continue using the space 24/7.  We’ll be back in the New Year!  Nonetheless, I will be stopping in every now and again to make sure you’re all diligently working and to keep the place in order.

Last week WorkSpace implemented an all-inclusive membership structure.  We did this because it allows us to streamline our operations. Simply put, this system gives our members more for their money by virtue of the fact that we no longer have to spend resources keeping track of what each person uses.

The coffee at WorkSpace just got better.  Our new supplier, 49th Parallel, purchases and roasts the best coffee beans in the world...bar none.  Our new beans bring the quality of our drinks well within that of the city's best cafes.  You'll notice the new coffee has a thicker, darker crema and that there is more volume to the shots.  You'll also find that there is more flavour to our french-press coffees.  Enjoy!
