Facebook App Are You Normal? Day One: 52% Normal

Submitted by Megan Cole on Thu, 10/04/2007 - 10:17.

Ok all you weirdos and freaks out there on Facebook - get out there and take the Are You Normal? survey so I can at least seem a *tad* more normal! Please? Here's a cool Facebook Application, just launched today, released to the masses, that you should most certainly add and play with. I'll tell you why you should:

  • It's good, clean fun that's entertaining and all about connecting with those people online you love (and love to poke fun at) the most: your close friends and family.
I've had a really great last several weeks. I've been working with the Kinzin team here in Vancouver to help market and promote this application, and you know what? It's an easy thing to talk positively about because of what is at the heart of this App: a company that truly believes in working towards finding positive ways for families to connect online. This application is a quirky and whacky way of doing just that.

Glowing From Glow - The Vancouver Acupuncture and Wellness Centre That Is Finally Curing Me

Glow Wellness Centre In Vancouver Is The Answer To Holistic Healing

I have finally found an acupuncture and wellness centre in Vancouver to heal me! I have had many body ailments and injuries over the past 20 years, mostly rips, tears and fractures from playing all kinds of sports, landing a few snowboarding concussions, but also from being quite accident prone in general - who else tears out their entire shoulder from slipping and tumbling down a snowy, wet escalator in the Montreal Metro?

I have visited somewhere between 5 and 10 different physiotherapists in 4 cities across Canada over the last decade, all of them have helped me tremendously, and all have lent a hand in fixing whatever needed fixing. But I am not quite 100% on most injuries. The trick (for me) with physical injuries to the body: consistency and diligence - you'd think it'd be easy to do those stretches and exercises twice a day to improve your strength. It's not. If things are mostly working, I think I am good to go. How stubborn.

Facebook: I Love It I Hate It I Love It I Hate It

x-posted:

Just few thoughts on Facebook (yawn). If you're reading this and you do not have an account or know what this is, you're missing out on a world that is, well, unnecessary I suppose, but happening and expanding without you - how much does that matter to you? (Mom - you're exempt for not being a part of this: privacy out the window and it was originally set up for students, as the name suggests. You'd loathe it.)

I have not gone onto Facebook and actively searched for anybody, but I do accept those prompts from people whom I have met in person before and confirm him or her as a "friend" online. (Note: I have indeed rejected people that I have never met before who have tried to add me as a friend. This is not something I practice across the board in social networks, just this one.)

Where have I been? I have no idea. Where am I now?:

That'll pretty much tell all. Wanna be friends again?

YES! Yet another outlet, yet another blog for this fresh, new blogger/vlogger gal soon-to-be-junkie.
On Raincity's The Standard, I naturally have to keep my writing somewhat clean and always hold a professional opinion from the studio's perspective.
China Access 2008 is another professionally-kept blog concerning the events and efforts surrounding business and the Olympics in China.
My personal blog is not even a year old, and was originally built for my family and close friends to track my life journeys. Seeing as my life has slowly become more and more public to the www, something I am coming around to with reluctant ease, I am trying to make it less directed towards the immediate family, and lean more towards, uhm, the world family? (Oh, I need to blog about that.)  megsjargon is the one in DESPERATE need of some lovin', as it is always the one that gets the least amount of attention... alas, at long last: A BlogSpace at WorkSpace to spew it all if I so choose. hell yeah. Merci Bill!
