On April 4 I auditioned to be on the TV show Dragons Den, which is sort of an American Idol for inventors. People go on the show with their great (and sometimes not so great) ideas and pitch to 5 wealthy business people who have carved their riches from the ground up. If they like your idea they negotiate right there on national television to strike a deal.

Two years have passed since the initial entry of "Am I Crazy...", and holly smokes...what a journey it has been. At that point I had a solid idea, solid design, and solid branding...but that was not nearly enough. I still had not secured a factory, I had no prototypes, and no direct route to market...not to mention that I was dancing on the edge of financial collapse as this dream has been a thirsty one.

What a crazy few months. I have been wearing a lot of hats lately. I redesigned the new website (www.kelvintools.com) which was quite a chore learning the whole process. I even added online shopping. In the end I can say that I got close, but there is a reason people are experts at this stuff.

Jesus saved me...literally. Jesus is a friend of mine from Argentina that does web design, and he took the mess I created and made it work.
