Laidback Geek, my new blog

Submitted by mark yuasa on Fri, 08/01/2008 - 17:06.

Here's a shameless plug for my new blog, Laidback Geek.

My writing partner Lindsay Stewart and I write about the stuff we like, games, tv, anime, manga, and gadgets.

While plenty of sites cover these subjects in depth, it's exactly that depth that can be daunting for many. Geek sites are by nature created by the hardcore, for the hardcore. But should they be?

What about working geeks who want to know what five year old game will run on their production laptop? Or busy geeks who want to know what TV show they should watch on DVD because the writers' strike left a bad taste in their mouths?

That's where Laidback Geek comes in. As our tagline says, we feature "Geek Stuff, Less Hardcore."
